Syncplicity is free (for personal use) online backup software and it is fully-featured and very easy to use and setup. Once your selected files are backed up, you can access them from anywhere and share them as well, if you wish.
The Personal edition has its limitations in that it is only for one user and maxes out at 2GB of storage, but you can use it on two computers and community support is included.
The Business edition would be great for a small to medium business since it allows 50GB of storage and priority and email support.
Syncplicity is easy to setup; just download the setup file and run it. Once it is installed, the wizard will help you to chose which folders you want to backup and whether you want to keep them synchronized (any changes you make are automatically applied to the online file and vice-versa too) or just backed up (no changes applied if you alter either file).

Since there is a 2GB limit to the Personal edition, you will be limited to backing up those important files, like documents, emails or perhaps a few precious photos.
