Office 2010 Available in May

email

Microsoft has announced that Office 2010 will be available to business partners starting May 12, and to the public in June. Those that purchase Office 2007 now are eligible for a free upgrade to Office 2010 under their Microsoft Office 2010 Technology Guarantee Program. You can get all the details here.

One of the most interesting new features is the Outlook Social Connector, which brings together communications history, contact information, and professional and social networking information (Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, etc) into the Outlook experience. Most importantly, it brings all of your friends, family and colleagues into one place, making it easier than ever to stay in touch with the people you care about.

In the meantime, the Office 2010 beta is available here
